Academic Decathlon is a program that students at Walden volunteer to join. The program is not
a class, but rather an extra curricular activity in which students
go through extensive studying to prepare for testing that is done nationwide.
If the students test well, then they're given the opportunity to compete
at regionals, and if the students do especially well, then they will be
able to compete at state or nationals.

Tom Feeney is the Decathlon coach
at Walden. He organizes the meetings for Decathlon and supplies the
students with the necessary information to prepare for the tests.

Whether its for R.O.P.E. exemption at Walden or its for good marks on college applications, Academic Decathlon is an excellent opportunity for everyone. |
