Walden PTA Council Scholarship Recipient
Walden senior Tim Schluechtermann was awarded a $1,000 scholarship at the PTA Council scholarship banquet on April 28. The PTSA wishes you the best, Tim, for a successful college career.
Our congratulations also go to Tom Rutkowski, Walden PTSA's Citizen of the Year. In addition, we were so pleased to see Jackie Ahrens, a Walden parent, honored as the Stephen Bull Fine Arts Citizen of the Year. Congratulations to everyone!

Box Tops and Campbell's Deadline is May 16
The deadline for the last collection of Box Tops and Campbell's labels will be Friday, May 16. Thanks for the great participation in these efforts this year. We surpassed our goals! Please take a moment to carefully clip the coupons and labels and check the expiration date.
College Information Night
The second annual College Information Night was a big success! Representatives from Alverno, Cardinal Stritch, UW-Parkside, Gateway, and Carthage presented useful college planning information and answered questions from a library full of interested parents and students.
Next PTSA Meeting on May 20
Join us for the final PTSA meeting of the year on Tuesday, May 20, 6:30-8:00 p.m. We'll be voting on officers, affirming volunteers, and approving a budget for next year and laying the groundwork as we look ahead to a new year. Parents of 5th graders who have been accepted to Walden are invited to join us and learn more about the active Walden PTSA.
