Be an Active Part of the Walden Community
Here is a list of easy things you could do that would make a real difference for Walden students. We encourage you to commit to at least two things every semester. Contact us to let us know what you would like to do.
- Attend all parent-teacher conferences
- Chaperone school events
- Drive for small group field trips
- Volunteer time for special events
- Provide food for school events
- Serve at school receptions
- Help with school performances
- Donate school supplies to the pantry
- Donate reference books and lab equipment
- Make a financial donation
- Organize a school group fundraiser
- Assist with a fundraiser
- Write grants to benefit the school
- Assist with grant writing efforts
- Be a guest speaker in a class
- Share a skill or expertise with students
- Tutor students during the school day
- Assist with academic programs such as CALC
- Connect the school with community resources
- ... and, of course, join the PTSA!
